PRIVACY POLICY FOR NON-REGISTERED USERS
1. Content Arena acts as an independent controller within the meaning of Article 4(7) under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter UK GDPR), and where applicable, the Data Protection Act 2018, for all personal data processed in connection with the operation, administration, security, support, analytics, billing, contractual performance, and development of the platform and related services. This includes, but is not limited to, registration data, company account data, technical identifiers, usage and traffic/consumption analytics, and any other data provided or generated in connection with platform activities.
2. By choosing to register for or use the Platform, users consent to the processing of their data as described in a further specified Privacy Policy accessible in the and following the registration process. Users who do not wish to provide the necessary personal data may refrain from using this platform or registering. In any case a user chooses not to register, this Privacy Policy for Non-Registered Users shall apply.
3. Content Arena may collect, process, analyse, and share aggregate, pseudonymised or, where necessary for contractual purposes, identified data relating to usage and streaming (including traffic volume, consumption statistics, analytics, and engagement metrics) arising through deployment of streams by Buyers, Sellers, and other Platform users. Such consumption and analytics data may be used for the purposes of billing, analytics, performance reporting, platform optimisation, contractual fulfilment, and Platform improvement, and – where contractually or operationally required – may be shared with business partners (including Buyers and Sellers). Where reasonable, such information will be disclosed only in aggregated or pseudonymised form. The legal bases for processing are legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) and/or contractual necessity (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR).
4. All processing of personal data by Content Arena is carried out in strict compliance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, storage limitation, integrity and confidentiality as set forth out in Article 5 UK GDPR. Appropriate technical and organisational measures shall be implemented to protect personal data against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage.
